Men from Mars woman from Venus #1

Dr. John Gray’s popular book, “Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus,” suggests that the reason for relationship conflicts is that each gender is accustomed to its own set of emotional balances, cultures, and values, or, metaphorically speaking, live on different planets.

The key to lasting, successful relationships is understanding and appreciating gender differences by recognizing that men and women operate so differently that they might as well be from different planets. By understanding gender differences, both men and women can learn to be more supportive and loving, creating greater harmony in the relationship. It may take some patience and time to adjust to a new, more enlightened way of relating to one another. But in the long run, these adjustments and insights can have a profoundly transformative effect on the relationship.

Taking the time to figure out the gender differences in the way male and female react and think, can help both spouses to become more forgiving and understanding of behavior that seems foreign to them.

When WOMEN have a grievance, they need to talk about their feelings. MEN need time in isolation to solve their problems independently.

WOMEN need to feel heard and understood. MEN need time and space to recharge.

For MEN winning is important. WOMEN wants to feel supported by someone who cares.

MEN want to be a hero! WOMEN want to be #1!

WOMEN need to learn that they are worthy of receiving love, whereas MEN need to learn that they are capable of giving love.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.-GENESIS 1:27
